Been looking at several used Kubota tractors for my 5 acre parcel. Decided I need a bucket to do some landscaping, and a mower deck. Here in Illinois, prices seem a little higher than I've seen on the message boards. Any input there? Looking at a B2150 with 950 hours, loader and 60" belly mower. I'd say very good condition, but not like new due to some paint wear on bucket and deck. The dealer says $10,500 is as low as he will go. Any advice? Also, how does this machine stack up against a B7100? JD755?

I think you will be pleased performance of the tractor that was replaced by the B-2710. For five acres it will do all you would ever need. ....

I think it is in the middle or just to the high side of the road so to speak if you were to compare all things but if it is a straight tractor it should be worth the money. If the tractor is cosmetically clean and shows not to have had neglect then it is fine. Things to check are the tie rod ends for looseness they may need replacing if it carried the loader much of the time, starting and the battery condition as well as the cable ends. Are there any leaks or signs of seepage on the cylinders or valves. Have they changed all the fluids? Axles and Hubs? How's the Air cleaner look if it hasn't been replaced? Do all the controls work properly? Do they have the manuals? Are the blades on the deck new, the belt, bearings quiet? Get them to deal with all the short coming you can if he wants to hold his price. You will enjoy it if he'd cover repairs for ninty days or so. ....
